SLIME CARE

Updated: Aug 26, 2019

Hi everyone! Welcome to the slime care page! These great slime tips will help you keep your slime fresh for many months! Easy slime care instruction are included in every order along with

extra activator.

Slime is very sensitive to heat and cold, since it is summer right now lets start with how heat effects all slime.

PLEASE DO NOT STORE YOUR SLIME JAR UNDER A LAMP, like on your night stand, the heat from the lamp will cause the slime to melt.

Postal trucks are not airconditioned in the back where they keep the packages, so some stickiness may occur during shipping.

If you have a colored white glue slime or clear slime and it is just slightly sticky you can make the borax water, (mix 1/2 tsp of the borax (included) into 1/2 cup warm water and stir until clear.) Then add 1 drop of the boraxed water at a time to your slime and it will firm up as you squeeze in the borax water, Add more drops until it is not sticky, you will have a lot of borax water left over and can save it for future use.

If your slime has completely melted then add 1 tsp of the boraxed water to the slime and stir it into the slime while it's still in the jar. slime will firm up in a matter of minutes.

FOR COLORED SLIME ONLY :If your slime is very lightly sticky adding a pinch of baking soda can remove the sticky as well.

ALL slime has tendencies to get a little sticky in the heat, if you have no borax then simply add 1 drop of Tide or any liquid laundry soap and it will work the same as the boraxed water to remove sticky.

Hard or stiff slime:

Cold weather may cause slime to freeze and feel firm, just add 1 tsp of warm water to the slime and squeeze the water into the slime to loosen it up.

You can also add 1 tsp or a few squirts of hand lotion to the slime to keep it soft and stretchy! Squeeze the lotion into the slime, it will look blubbery at first, just keep squeezing it in until it softens.

Have fun! And please remember ALL SLIME IS FIXABLE! We include easy slime care tips for anyone who wants their slime to last long and wants to be a slimmer!
